2016 Christmas Newsletter
December 2016  Dear Family and Friends,
Thanks for being a part of our lives this year. Things took a turn as David retired from his job and devoted his time to the glass business. We participated in 6 art shows and taught close to 100 glass classes. Between teaching art and tutoring at the high school, teaching yoga and stained glass, serving in the Relief Society presidency and preparing for art shows, Jeanne was lucky to get the dishes done once in a while. She did step down as Utah County art Board president to make time for track meets, graduations and publishing a new pattern book.
David’s mother passed in June and we were able to be with lots of his family for the funeral in Wyoming.
Christopher’s daughter, Sammy, returned from a mission in Philadelphia, and Landon returned from Taiwan. Ally came in 4th in state for hurdles.
Laura works part time as a hostess at the same brewery Allen is employed. Rogue is enjoying spending more time with his Dad.
Amy’s son, Nik, will be heading for Argentina for his mission this month. Amy and Shaun moved into a lovely home near Salt Lake City with their children, Andy and Mya.
Dane bought some vacation property near Nephi UT where he likes to spend time camping.
We spent time with Camille and Matt in October when we loaded way too much glass in our little car but we made it home without incident.
Sarah has made some wedding cakes for friends and their oldest, Aurora, has reached the age of a teen!
Katherine enjoys time with Yuki, her fluffy white dog. She is pursuing painting and helps Jeanne with motivational quotes on social media.
We appreciate each day the Lord allows us to experience, and send our love to all of you.
Merry Christmas,
David and Jeanne
